We are a Member Owned and Operated club. There are NO Paid Positions - aside from the setters. NONE.

Hello Weston Trap Club Member;

A few reminders . . .

The dates for Hunter Safety Classes for 2012 are; January 16^th thru 21^st, February 20^th thru 25^th & March 12^th thru 17^th.

All classes run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday**, Thursday, and Saturday. Class times are 6 pm to 9 pm weekdays and 7 am to 3 pm on Saturday.

**Wednesday is the optional Bow Hunters Course. When taken in conjunction with Hunter Safety it only adds one more night to the program.

Price is $10 for each class payable in advance to secure you spots on the roster. Anyone interested should call Sherry or Dave Clairmore at 715-359-8605.

We will host a CWTA Shoot on Feb 19th.

RAFFLE

Once again, Weston Hit and Miss Trap Club is having its annual raffle. Tickets available from a board member, only 125 available.

Prizes are 1^st-2500.00 2^nd-1500.00 3^rd-1000.00 4^th-750.00 5^th-750.00 6^th-500.00 7^th-500.00 8^th-250.00 9^th- 250.00 10^th-250.00 11^th-250.00 12^th-250.00

If you would like a ticket, contact Woody at 715 693 2702.

The drawing will be held in March at the club with a Prime Rib dinner and beverages being served to anyone who has a ticket. Other fundraisers will be held on site the night of the drawing.

We are looking for donations to raffle off that night. If you have any items to donate, call Woody and let him know what you have. We will use almost anything for the raffles like 12 packs or CDs, Guns, ammo, fishing equipment, electronics, and optics. If you don’t have a need for it, give us a call and see if we can use it. Cash donations also accepted.

All proceeds go to pay off the construction loan.

Money does not make this club run . . . YOU do. HELP it be here tomorrow.

Or ... We could raise target prices and hire people to do what you do not want to do. Members have been heard saying 'I don't come here to work, I come here to shoot'. If that is how we want it, come to a member meeting and propose it. It's your club. Make it what you want - inexpensive and member run or, more expensive but with services provided. Just remember, if you want to play, you have to pay - somewhere.

We need your help. Even if you cannot donate any other time or talents throughout the year, please find time to attend a meeting or two. We need 15 members present at the membership meetings in order to vote and conduct business. Meetings are held at the club on the 1st Tuesday (of most months) at 7:00 PM or as scheduled by the Board of Directors.

Did you know that Ruth Morris prepares a great lunch for all members present at the membership meetings? All you need to do is be there and donate a buck or two.
